As humanity strays from the way of peace, will the Giant be able to endure the consequences?
‘The Giant stood holding up the sky. He was pleased to do so, as the sky was as light as a feather, and he spent his days watching the birds soar through it. At night, he looked up at the stars, studying their paths and marvelling at their beauty. Then a new age dawned when the humans appeared upon the earth. They lived in harmony as they tended the earth and its inhabitants. The rivers and lakes provided enough water to sustain them and the creatures they cared for. Fruit was plentiful, and they were never in need of food. The Giant’s heart leapt in delight for humanity. He watched them dance and heard them sing, and he was completely captivated by their ways.’
